We've got 4 awesome paracord projects that you need to learn. Most of us know why paracord is an essential item for survivalists to have on them at all times. But for those of you who don't know about paracord, or are curious why its so popular among survivalists, we'll gladly explain. Many people tend to compare paracord to nylon cord, arguing that nylon cord is cheaper so why bother with paracord. Completely reasonable question! The primary reason why paracord far surpasses nylon cord is its strength. It comes with a durable outer casing that houses 7 additional strands of cord. Not only is paracord stronger – typically it holds up to 550 lbs- but the additional strands inside can be used as a fishing line, as a thread for sewing, making a net, shelter building or bushcraft work – essentially anything you can think you might need to survive.
But it's important to have paracord with you at all times. The best way to do this is to create something you will carry with you daily to ensure you are prepared with your chord. Having a paracord bracelet or belt are two excellent ways to ensure you have what you need when you need it.
On page 2 we'll show you 4 awesome paracord projects you can make on your own. They're easy too!
