Almost all dedicated survivalists have a set of plans or “drills” in place for when an emergency occurs. Whether the power goes out, you're hit with an unexpected natural disaster or you're simply out in nature – you're somewhat prepared.
Part of that preparation involves being able to start a fire. Some of us might have lighters or waterproof matches stored away in a protective container, ready for use. It’s just what we do.
But what if something goes awry and we don't have those go-to fire starting items? A flood, for instance, could make those matches useless in no time.
The point of all this is that there is always a possibility you'll need a plan b. And most likely that plan b will involve you needing to start a fire from scratch.
On the next page we'll show you 7 Awesome Primitive Fire Starting Methods!
