Finding and drinking clean water is one of the most important resources you will need when SHTF. Depending on the situation, ensuring you have safe drinking water when the situation calls for it is easier said than done.
For example, if you happen to live in an area that only has salt water such as the ocean, inland seas, or salt lake, you will have to remember to prepare ahead of time. Drinking your water will be different than it normally would with filtration.

Dave Canterbury has a channel on YouTube. One of his videos shared a very interesting product consisting of two pots. One had the unclean water which would boils over a fire. The other would have colder water above to create condensation with a little spout that allowed the condensation to trickle down Into a container. Ave time was about an hour 45 to get a canteens worth roughly. Very handy

Separating the water from the salt would then give tou two essential products, drinking water and sea salt. No? Well, you’d have to figure out how to furthur refine the salt to get out the impurities. I think salt will be one of our most important barter items.
