This is a two-part video that shows you how to use PVC pipe and a hose to drill your own short-depth well.
The ability to drill your own well could make your survival or bug-out location much more inhabitable. You also could use the water if you needed to irrigate crops.
As always, you should check with local authorities to get the proper permits (if applicable) and to make sure that you are not breaking any laws.
But if everything is kosher and you have an acceptable water supply you can tap into, drilling your own well not only saves money, but would give you a vital source of water in a survival situation.
To learn how to use PVC and a hose (your water supply) to drill your own well, check out the videos on the next page.
