If you're reading this at work, please try to resist the urge to try this immediately. Luckily we have a warehouse downstairs so we tried it out immediately (#sorrynotsorry). But your boss might not be as cool as ours, so we recommend waiting until you get home.
Important Tips: Roll your sleeves up and be very careful not to burn your finger tips. Make sure you're testing this out over a solid surface like wood, concrete or asphalt. Don't attempt this over carpet. That's a big fire hazard no-no.
Will You Try This Out?
If so, share your experience in the comments section below! If you know of an alternate way to start fire in a short period of time that you think is even better or even on par with the video above, we'd love to hear from you! Images and video links are both welcomed.
Several years ago , the wife and I went boating, fishing and camping on our favorite lake, after fishing for awhile, we went to one of the small beaches to have lunch. I broke out the mini bar-b-que, and after surching for the lighter and or some matches, I got the brain storm idea. The wife could not figure what I was doing. I disconnected the boat battery , and being a mechanic that carried tools and what nots on the boat, I got a long piece of wire . With these items in hand , I went on the beach, set the battery next to the bar-b-que, took the wire, cut it in half, attached to battery and started tapping the wire ends together to make sparks , after a few seconds , I had a fire going, and the wife shaking her head and saying , only you Jesse.. Don’t panic, and think of what you have at hand, and how it can save your life. But,, I will also now be adding some extra batteries to the tool chest. Thanks for the idea.
I didn’t believe it at first but yeah, totally works.
Right on cool way to start a fire
