While most of us have prepared for more of a “bug-in” situation, bugging-out might be the preferred alternative.
If the SHTF moment you are facing is dire enough, say with a hurricane approaching, it might be your only alternative.
If you face that type of a situation, your vehicle has to be dependable, rugged, have ample storage space and allow you to travel quickly, but in relative comfort.
Depending on where you are headed, bug-out-wise, it may also have to be able to traverse very rough terrain without breaking down and probably will have to be able to endure a grind for an extended period of time.
What vehicles cover that range of requirements, yet will not break the bank.
